More than 6,100 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean's list for the 2019 fall semester. Guidelines for inclusion on the list are: Undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, the Tippie College of Business, and University College who achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher on 12 semester hours or more of UI graded coursework during a given semester or summer session and who have no semester hours of "I" (incomplete) or "O" (no grade reported) during the same semester are recognized by inclusion on the dean's list for that semester. Undergraduate students in the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine can qualify for the dean's list with fewer than 12 semester hours of graded credit if deemed appropriate by the college. Beginning in fall 2011, College of Nursing students participating in clinical courses must have a total of 12 semester hours of earned credit, with eight semester hours of graded credit with a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Courses offered on a S/U (satisfactory/unsatisfactory) or P/S (pass/fail) basis do not count toward graded credit for inclusion on the dean's list.

In December, more than 1,800 University of Iowa undergraduate, graduate, and professional students participated in ceremonies celebrating the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. As these students donned their caps and gowns-some of them the first in their family to do so-they embarked on a long journey that will forever be connected to their time at the UI as Hawkeyes.

Bradley University announces the Fall 2019 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Wheaton freshman Abby Pardridge was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday. A native of DeKalb, Illinois and Rosary High School, Pardridge had a breakout weekend at the 39th Annual Wheaton Invitational held Friday and Saturday. On one week of rest, she swam lifetime bests in the 50 backstroke (27.46), 100 freestyle (52.95rs), 200 freestyle (1:58.36rs), 100 backstroke (58.84) and 100 butterfly (57.60). She also swam a season-best and CCIW-leading 200 backstroke (2:05.33), which was Pardridge's second-best time of her career. She now leads the CCIW in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 100 butterfly. Her 100 backstroke is fifth all time in Wheaton history, while her 100 butterfly is sixth all time, and her 200 backstroke is fourth all time.

The University of Kentucky College of Arts and Sciences is pleased to announce that over 1,550 undergraduate students qualified for the Spring 2019 College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List.

More than 4,800 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at the University of Iowa recently participated in graduation ceremonies. The UI's spring 2019 graduates had an average cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.16 on a 4.0 scale. In addition, 16 percent of the graduating class graduated with multiple majors and 355 undergraduates graduated with honors. More than 3,000 students earned academic honors

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in December 2017. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar's Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. Participating in the commencement ceremony is the act of honoring and celebrating academic achievement.
